Year 4 enjoyed football with CUFC today. 

Year 5 enjoyed their cricket session with Habib in the sun today. 

Year 4 had a great time at the School Games Tri-Golf final coming in first place overall! Congratulations!

Nursery children got to witness the ACTUAL wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle today! The Queen even showed up! They all had a great day celebrating! 

Our school council visited the food bank in Egremont today. They found out what items were needed and went shopping, prior to their visit, so they could make a donation.  The children helped staff to mark up the items with the correct dates, then packed the food into boxes and helped carry the…

Well done to all our Year 4 tennis players at the School Games tournament. Team A came first overall.

Reception learned about the upcoming Royal Wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle. They had lots of fun making Union Jack flags, decorating crowns, writing wedding invitations, making playdough wedding cakes and building castles with the construction.

Year 3 enjoyed an exciting football skills session with Carlisle United⚽️

We were lucky enough to get out in the good weather today to practise our throwing and catching. We used hula hoops to improve our aim and then used these skills to throw the balls to each other. ⚽️ 

Today saw the release of the Reception class' butterflies. They arrived as tiny caterpillars nearly four weeks ago. Reception have thoroughly enjoyed watching them as they grew bigger, made cocoons and emerged from their cocoons as beautiful butterflies.

Reception went on a minibeast hunt in the school grounds as part of their topic on 'Bugs and Minibeasts'. They investigated the different types of minibeasts that live in the school grounds and the different types of places they like to live.

We have been taking care of our class tadpoles. We changed half of the water and replaced it with the rainwater the children collected, so the tadpoles could have a nice clean tank.
