Our Class Saints
Each of our classes has a class saint. Children learn all about their special saint and have lots of fun celebrating their saint's feast day!
Nursery: Saint Theresa of the Roses

St Theresa is the patron saint of missionaries, florists and the sick.
Her feast day is celebrated on 1st October.
Reception: Saint George

St George is the patron saint of England.
His feast day is celebrated on 23rd April.
Year One: Saint Andrew

St Andrew is the patron saint of Scotland.
His feast day is celebrated on 30th November.
Year Two: Saint David
St David is the patron saint of Wales.
His feast day is celebrated on 1st March.
Year Three: Saint Mary

St Mary is the patron saint of all humanity, especially mothers. May is the liturgical month of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Her feast day is celebrated in school on October 7th (Our Lady of the Rosary)
Year Four: Saint Joseph

St Joseph is the patron saint of workers and fathers.
His feast day is celebrated on 19th March.
Year Five: Saint Patrick

St Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland.
His feast day is celebrated on 17th March.
Year Six: Saint Bridget

St Bridget is the second patron saint of Ireland, poets, farmers and new babies. She is also a special patron saint of our school.
Her feast day is celebrated on 1st February.

St Bridget’s day bookmarks in Year 2
