Year 3 celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary
Year 3 had a fantastic day learning all about the mysteries of the Rosary and how to pray it. They learnt about the significance of the miraculous medal as a sign of protection and safeguarding to those who wear it. They made a medal and a plaque for themselves.
Awesome Archers in Year 3
Year 3 had great fun learning how to fire a bow and arrow today. They were great shots and had fun adding up their scores on their target.
Year 3 Painting techniques
Year 3 have been practicing their painting techniques and learning about how Vincent Van Gogh used impasto paint, line and blue shades to create “A Starry Night”.
They used flour to thicken their paint and then painted in the style of Van Gogh.
