This week in science, our class began learning about the different states of matter - answering the question, ‘What is matter?’
To help us to understand the difference between mass and volume, we carried out an investigation using 200g of cheese and a 200g metal weight. We discovered that even though both objects had the same mass, they took up different amounts of space (volume).
We showed that we are starting to think like real scientists - observing, questioning and drawing conclusions based on evidence.
