This week in Reception, we worked together in groups to design and make our own boats using tin foil. We used our teamwork and communication skills to share ideas and decide on the best way to build a boat that could hold as many gems as possible. Once our boats were finished, we took them outside to the water tray to test them and see which group’s boat could hold the most gems before sinking. Afterwards, we talked about our results and discussed how we could improve our designs to make our boats stronger and able to hold even more gems.
