School Council Elections Year 5 2026

On Thursday, St Bridget’s held a whole-school election, giving every child the opportunity to have their voice heard.

Children who stood for election presented their manifestos to their classmates before everyone voted for two representatives. A polling station was set up in the hall, giving children the chance to experience the democratic process first-hand.

This linked beautifully to our British Value of Democracy, ensuring every child had a voice and a vote.
