Home learning Week 1: P.E.
During week 1 of home learning Year 2 took part in a variety of sports and activities such as cricket, football, walking, running, cycling, dancing with Oti, P.E. with Joe Wicks and trampolining. They know how important it is to exercise for good health.
Gymnastics Tournament 2020 Y4
Representatives from Y4 enjoyed competing in a gymnastics tournament. Fabulous effort all round. Well done!
Year 2 Cricket
Year 2 had their first cricket session today. They learned how to bowl over arm and tried to hit the wicket with the ball. A great first effort was made by all the children. They can’t wait for their next session so they can learn even more about cricket.
Y5 Bikeability
Year 5 had a great week learning how to stay safe on the road on their bikes during Bikeability.

kS2 Change 4Life
KS2 learnt fun ways to get exercise at the Change 4 Life Festival.
Y6 Multi-skills
The cold January weather didn’t stop Y6 enjoying an energetic Multi-skills session outside with Dan. They have been working on attacking and invading ball games and learning how to defend.
Year 3 and 4 Athletics Festival
Our Year 3 and 4 children were excellent role models at the Whitehaven Athletics Festival today. We were very proud of their behaviour and their athletic performance. We await the results, but either way, we had a great time. Thanks to Mr Stead for joining us today.
