Reception team games practise
This week Reception have been practising their team player skills during our PE sessions. They particularly enjoyed the relay games with yellow team being the winners over all! Great practise for next week’s sports day.
Year 3 practice for Sports Day 2025
Year 3 have been practising for Sports Day activities today. Great fun!
Relay Race Training Y6 2025
Year 6 enjoyed learning the skills required for the relay race. They developed their skills of running at speed over a short distance, how to hold the baton and how to hand it over efficiently.
Junior Bowling Competition 2025
Children from Y5 and Y6 took part in the Junior Bowls Competition at Egremont Bowling Club this afternoon. They had a fabulous time and came away as the overall winners! A huge well done.
Nursery: Fine Motor Fun
Nursery have loved our Fine Motor Station tray this week. They have been stacking, threading, using tongs and weaving. They have loved wiggling their fingers, making them strong and having lots of fun.
The start of Reception’s gymnastics sessions
Reception enjoyed their first gymnastic session learning how do a pointy pencil balance and a star. They also learnt how to pose in a tuck, straddle and pike position. Great job Reception with our gymnastics coach.
Year 2 Multiskills April 2025
In their multiskills, lesson Year 2 have been working on improving their jumping skills. They used the tuck jump to jump in and out hoops as well as challenging themselves to see how high they could jump over a rope and how far they could jump from a line using the long jump. Lots of enthusiasm…
Year 3 Hockey 2025
Year 3 enjoyed developing their hockey skills. It was very impressive to learn a new skill so quickly.
Kicky Rounders
The Year 5 and 6 representatives had a fantastic time at Kicky Rounders today. They loved competing against other schools and aiming to make it all the way around the pitch to score a rounder. To wrap up the day, the students enjoyed an exciting game against the staff.
Swimming Gala 2025

Bowling Final Y5/6
Year 5 and 6 representatives had a great time at the Bowling final at Carlisle. They all got to practice their bowling skills again and enjoyed taking part.
Girl Can Festival 2025
Today, girls from Year 5 and 6 participated in the "Girls Can Festival," an event designed to inspire girls to explore a variety of sports. They had a great time learning new skills in football, athletics, dance, judo, and kicky rounders. We hope this experience will motivate them to continue…
