Year 5 Swimming Week October 2026
Year 5 have spent the week visiting Copeland Pool for swimming lessons. All of the children grew in confidence and stamina, while improving their swimming skills. Lots of fun was had by all. Congratulations to Eliza, Oliver and Callan who were awarded swimmers of the week.
Running Club
In our after-school running club today, the focus was on footwork, core strength, and coordination.
We used agility ladders to help us practise these skills and quickly realised it was harder than it looked! With practice, we all improved our coordination and speed as the session went on.
