In Art this week, Year 4 have been learning about tertiary colours. The children discovered that tertiary colours are created by mixing a primary colour with a neighbouring secondary colour, opening up a whole new world of colour possibilities.

Through experimentation, the children mixed paints to create a variety of new shades, carefully observing how different combinations produced different results.

In preparation for next week, the children also prepared their own canvases using a range of materials to create different textures.
