Today, our Year 1 children learned all about St Francis of Assisi and celebrated his feast day that took place earlier this week.
They discovered that St Francis loved God, people, animals and nature. The children talked about ways that they can look after and care for God’s wonderful world. Then they wrote their pledges on leaves they had decorated and hung them on a prayer tree. What wonderful, caring children we have at St Bridget’s.
