Year 1 have been exploring Tens and Ones using Base Ten equipment to enhance their understanding. In partners they used Part Whole Models to explore partitioning Tens and Ones. Everyone grasped partitioning and enjoyed creating their own questions for their partner to answer using the Base 10 equipment. Great work Year 1 mathematicians.
