Year 2 Bowls
Year 2 went to Egremont Bowling Green to learn how to bowl. They then took part in a tournament and came second! Well done Year 2!
Making sensory bottles
In the final art and craft club of the term the Reception children made sensory bottles. They chose the items they wanted to put inside them then the colour of the water they wanted inside it. They were all amazed at what happened when they turned them upside down.
Year 2 Rum Story
Year 2 visited The Rum Story this morning to enhance their learning about Africa and how their local area links to Africa. Ask them who the Jefferson’s are.

Year 2 used their running skills to good effect this morning finishing first and third in the team relay races.

Year 2 enjoyed learning all about the history of their local harbour side (Whitehaven) and how it links to other parts of the world. Ask them who John Paul Jones is.

Nursery using the Beebots
Some of our Nursery children had the opportunity to use the Beebots last week in our carpet session. They had to listen to the instructions and move the Beebot on the map. This promoted the use of positional language, which we have been practising in Nursery.
Reception Art and Craft Club
The Reception made dancing snakes in art and craft club this week. They designed and cut out their snakes then moved them in the air to dance to some music.
