Year 2 have been learning about books in R.E. They visited church to find out about the books used there. They learnt about who uses the different books and what they are used for. The children spent some time looking at the Mass and Hymn books used by the parishioners.

Our Year 2 children have spent some time exploring the numbers that are important to them in their lives. They wrote about these numbers and illustrated them. They had great fun comparing their numbers with their partners too.

Year 1 enjoyed celebrating Number Day to help raise money for the NSPCC.  We had great fun playing Snakes and Ladders with Year 6. We learnt to take turns and count the steps we rolled with the dice. We will definitely play more games together as it was such a success.
