Year 4 were very pleased to meet Team GB athlete Chris Bennett this afternoon. He told us some very interesting stories about his experiences as an athlete.

Year 3 had a lovely sunny walk to the library to get a book to read over the Easter holiday. We listened to our class story: Operation Gadgetman by Malorie Blackman. We each chose our own book to take home over the Easter holidays. 
 

Year 3 have been practicing their marking, throwing and shooting skills, whilst playing in 4 teams, with Dan. They are becoming great netballers!
 

In our Textiles lessons we have been learning to attach materials in different ways and add colour, pattern and texture. 
 

Today we have been learning about measuring length. We have been using non-standard measures like cubes, paper clips, rubbers and hands.  We have measured objects around our classroom using cubes.  We had lots of fun counting the cubes to find out the length and we even measured a row of tables!
